P.S. It’s my body! & Break the Silence

P.S. It’s My Body! and Break The Silence, a personal safety programs for children ages 4 years and up.

Children who participate in the P.S. It’s My Body! and Break the Silence program will learn strategies to recognize, resist, and report, which may lessen their susceptibility to abuse. All activities are designed to reinforce the three R’s (Recognize, Resist, Report) by integrating a variety of experience to increase children’s knowledge and skill retention. Each unit is interactive, fun and grade specific and includes one or more take-home activities to engage parents and family in personal safety lessons.

goes-on-outreachsm Children will learn about welcome and unwelcome touches, identifying trusted adults, personal safety boundaries, the importance of helping others, resistance skills to deal with bullies, and other important issues our children face everyday. P.S. It’s My Body! utilizes wonderful visual aides such as a video, safety scenarios, and games all of which are focused around personal safety and empowerment.

Bullying

 An educational presentation designed to learn about bullying prevention, warning signs, engage in activities, and be inspired to take action. 

Teen Dating Violence

 An educational presentation designed to help teens and people who care about them to understand the different type of relationship abuse and how to prevent it.

Domestic Violence

An educational presentation designed to prevent and teach the signs and type of domestic violence. The consequences of domestic violence can cross generations and truly last a lifetime.

Substance Abuse

 An educational presentation designed to prevent, warning signs, and teach the different type of drugs.

Suicide

An educational and Informative presentation on suicide prevention, understanding the warning signs, myths and realities.

Shaken Baby Syndrome

An educational presentation designed to teach and prevent Shaken baby syndrome and SIDS
